Demi Update!

Demi absolutely loves her new school! Yesterday she came home with a new Recorder in her backpack and her own little folder with sheet music in it. She gets to practice playing at home and she goes to music every week with Mrs. Farmer. Mrs. Farmer is the funniest music teacher. She has been at the school since it opened nearly 20 years ago. She came to Demi's class on the second day of school to say hi and to introduce herself to Demi - the newest Wilson to come to Kuehnle! It's things like that which make it such an exceptional and friendly school! They have made her feel welcome and special.

She has made alot of friends since she has been here as well. She has a new best friend in her class named Sara. She is 11 and Demi thinks it is so cool that she is older. They love all the same things like Hannah Montana, High School Musical and Barbies and play together every day at recess. She also has made friends with the neighbors. We are very lucky to live on such a nice and fun cul-de-sac. There are a ton of kids. Immediately next door there are two boys, one of which is a friend of Parker's that Demi enjoys playing with as well. And across the street there is a family with 4 kids. Two of the oldest are girls. One of which is Demi's age. She came up to Demi in music yesterday and said hi and asked if she was Parker and Carson's cousin. Demi was so excited because when she got off the bus they were waiting for her and they were all talking a mile and minute about all the fun they wanted to have. They showed Demi their bikes and want her to get a scooter like them. They were asking about her room and talking about having a sleepover... Yikes! Ex-nay on the sleepover-ay! :)

This weekend she will get to meet and play with Parker and Carson's cousins for the first time and will have so much fun with them as well! We usually hang out with them either Friday or Saturday night every weekend.

She is having a great time and we feel really lucky that Demi has a chance to be at such a great school with so many enriching and enjoyable experiences ahead of her!
